Members aim to give in the region of 10% of their income to God’s mission through the church. Of course, giving 10% (often called tithing) is not a biblical law, but it is a biblically popular amount to give, and experience shows that giving this amount is doable for individuals in today’s world (requiring a healthy degree of faith and discipline), and that if most members are giving this amount, a church is able to accomplish its mission.
